Nebraska Safety Center Moves Online Driver Training Courses to New Platform

In October, the Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney began utilizing a new Learning Management System for all online driver training courses. Each individual taking an online course will need to create their own account in NU Advance to receive credit for taking courses.


Instructions for how to create an account and enroll in courses can be found below or on the Nebraska Public Transit website. Contact Kaitlyn Richardson, richardsonke@unk.edu with any questions or concerns.

 

NU Advance Instructions

1. Click blue “Enroll Now” button.

2. Create an Account (or login via the “Already have an account? Sign in here” button).

2a. If creating an account, go to your email and click the blue “Complete Registration” button to finish registering your account.

3. Once logged into your account, click the blue “Enroll” button in the Cart Checkout.

4. Access your Dashboard (after completing registration and/or in your email inbox).

5. On the Dashboard, click on the course tile.

6. Begin the course.
