2021 Quarter Four NATP President’s Message

Jan 07, 2022

Happy New Year! Cheers to health, happiness, and safe travels in 2022!!

It seems, as crazy as 2021 was, it has come and gone with a blink of an eye.

The NATP Board has been discussing our options for upcoming Legislative Day. It does not seem we will be able to have our normal legislative breakfast and large group proclamation signing but plans are in the works for a day of training in March, please look for a NATP email coming soon with the details. Public Transit Week is right around the corner, I hope everyone ordered their promo items. Watch for upcoming emails to help plan and spread the word of our planned transit activities.

Our next event to plan is the Manager Meeting, we are checking out dates in June and July. Please reach out to the Board or myself and let us know if you have any specific training topics you would like to focus on. Handbooks, employee shortage, new hire training, and software are few I have heard so far.

I also want to mention the manger meetup Zooms taking place every month. Please join those for helpful tips from fellow managers or to seek out answers to any transit concerns/questions you may have.

Until Next Time!!
