2021 Quarter Four Statewide Mobility Manager’s Message

Jan 07, 2022

Happy New Year! 2022 promises more challenges and opportunities for public transit in Nebraska. This year will see transit agencies operating new and enhanced services around the state, drivers and dispatchers utilizing new technologies, and increasing inter-agency coordination. Our team looks forward to the new Forklift service in Norfolk, the expanded service in Cedar County, continuing to support in bringing transit software to more agencies, and working with the Panhandle region to help where we can.

Even as we look at the year in front of us, it is also important to look at the years following it and begin planning our agencies’ future. Ask yourself: What will my agency look like in 5 years? The members of the Mobility Management team, the Center for Public Affairs Research, Nebraska Safety Center, NDOT, and NATP are all here to assist you in achieving your vision.
