2022 Quarter One NATP President’s Message

Apr 08, 2022

Greetings Transit Friends!!

Thank you to those who attended the March NATP workshop, it was fabulous to be able to meet in person and see your smiling faces. We were lucky to have Rob Lynch as a speaker, he provided lots of great knowledge and food for thought in regard to human resources, ethics, and emergency preparedness. Thanks to all the transit managers who were brave enough to present on the software platforms and for sharing your great software tricks and tips.

Upcoming we will have Public Transit Week April 17-23, a great opportunity to spread the word about transit and give thanks to our patrons and employees. Next the CTAA Expo and Roadeo in Louisville, Kentucky May 10-14 – good luck to all drivers participating. Then we will host the Manager’s Workshop on June 22-23 in Norfolk.

Reminder we will have three NATP board positions up for grabs, email your nominations to Jennifer Eurek or reach out to other board members if you have questions regarding running for election. Be on the lookout for the sign-up email to attend the Manager’s Workshop, we are working on a great training session line up.

I am looking forward to our upcoming events, I truly have missed being able to meet in person and have great discussions.

Until Next Time!
