2022 Quarter Three NATP President’s Message

Oct 07, 2022

Happy Fall Y’all! Can you believe it is October already?

Big thank you to all who attended the 30th Annual NATP Roadeo in September. It was great to see all the drivers and managers, once the rain cleared, we had a nice day. Props to all drivers who participated in the Roadeo and congratulations to the top two winners in each division. Minivan winners were Mindy Manning and Ramona Daniels, and bus division top two were Colby Risseeuw and Ashley Arnburg, good luck in Oklahoma City!

Thank you to all agencies who have renewed their NATP memberships. If you are not a NATP member and would like to join, please reach out to Jennifer Eurek or myself and we would be happy to help you. The training and networking opportunities are valuable for all.

Looking at our 2023 calendar, the board is considering a legislative day, or a workshop please let us know what you prefer. If you have any great speakers or topics in mind, please share with a board member or Jennifer. NATP is partnering to help plan Nebraska Public Transit Week in April. Then we will have Managers Workshop September 6-8 in Kansas City during the Midwest Transit Conference and our Roadeo. Looking forward to another great year in public transit!

Until next time!
