2023 Nebraska Public Transit Week

Jan 06, 2023

It’s 2023!! We are so excited to update you on our planning for Nebraska Public Transit Week (April 9-15 for those who forgot). On December 21 we placed the order for the promotional items and hope to have those items out to you in the coming months. We are excited about the participation and interest in the items this year and appreciate all the managers who took time to place an order.

However, there is always time to order items on your own! These items can be specialized with your agency name, contact information, etc. And you get to pick them. Be sure to check out the planning webpage for more information about ordering promotional items for your agency.

In the coming weeks the planning committee will finalize downloadable items to help you promote Nebraska Public Transit Week in your area. We’ll also work with the Nebraska Association of Transportation Providers to arrange a proclamation from the new Governor’s office. Be sure to keep your eyes open for an email from them with more details.

Meanwhile, we would love it if you started thinking about what you will do to celebrate Nebraska Public Transit Week! You might consider how to participate in the photo contest, or what events work best for your area like an open house, buddy ride days, or stuff the bus, or a good old appreciation day for riders, drivers, staff, etc. Be sure to share your events with our team once you’ve got them planned and we will them to the 2023 Nebraska Public Transit Week Events and Activities webpage.

We’ll have more information for you as we get closer to April. Please be sure to attend Manager Meetups or watch them on YouTube afterward so you don’t miss the newest information.
