July Provides Opportunities for Celebrating Rural Transit

National RTAP will be celebrating the annual #RuralTransitDay on Sunday, July 16. You can pledge your support for rural transit on their website. They also have ideas for Rural Transit Day celebrations, a toolkit of things to use to celebrate the day, and a Twitter chat planned for Friday, July 14 (you must RSVP for this).
The National Center for Rural Road Safety will be celebrating Rural Road Safety Awareness Week July 17-21. This year’s theme is “What’s Speed Got to Do With It?” Resources are available on their website for the daily topics they have created.
